We believe that Drunkball is one of the best, if not the best drinking game that exists. Now don't get us wrong we love an evening of Beer Pong as much as the next person and Flip Cup is a great party game. However, Drunkball combines the quick intensity of Flip Cup and the team work of Beer Pong. The game is not very well known but is very fun and will definitely get you, not your opponents, drunk - hence the name, Drunkball. So check out the Rules and be prepared to play a great drinking game!

First thing is first, Drunkball is a Gentleman's game, and should be treated as such. The game starts much like Beer Pong. Two teams (we'll call them Team A and Team B) of two start at opposite ends of the table. However, the similarities to Beer Pong end there. One Player on Team A throws the ball and tries to hit Team B's cans (placed at the opposite end of the table from Team A). If he/she hits the cans the other member of Team A opens and starts drinking from one of his/her team's cans (one can must be finished before moving on to the next). Meanwhile, Team B retrieves the ball and brings it back to their end of the table and says stop. Repeat this until one team finishes all of their beer. The team with the finshed beers is declared the winner.

Tournament

Drunkball.net is excited to be co-hosting the first drunkball tournament with NAKID. The tounament will officially be at Hamilton's bar on 2nd Street, Washington, DC on Sunday, July 20th 2008. As of now, the tournament has a 32 team capacity. The entry fee is $25 which pays for beer all day, at least 4 games of drunkball, cash prizes and a trophy for the winners. To register, send an email to: drunkball@gmail.com. Your spot is not garenteed untill we receive your entry fee. Please provide the names of both you and your partner and a team name. See you there!

Three Man Drunkball

How many nights have you been together with friends for a pregaming session and not have the right amount of people to play a drinking game. Well we here at Drunkball.net have solved this problem. Drunkball can now be played with any number of people with slight modifications to the rules. We still believe that the original 4 person is the best way to play but by far our favorite variation is 3 man drunkball. To play this version all three players get their own beer so unlike the original version it is every person for themselves. Two of the cans are placed at one end of the table touching and the other is placed at the other end. One player throws first (player A). If he or she hits the other two cans then they (player A) starts drinking from their own can. Mean while players B and C at the other end of the table work together to bring the ball back to the table and say stop. Players then rotate so that player A takes player B position. Player B is then on offence and will throw at players A and C's cans. This three way rotation continues till one player is finished with their can. They are declared the winner and the two remaining players battle for 2nd. The fun part of this variation is that there are still no defensive time outs.
